Career Opportunities

Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) is the Investment Promotion Agency of Punjab Province. PBIT encourages talented and dynamic professionals to become members of its team in order to realize the mission and vision of the Chief Minister, Punjab. Applications are invited from eligible candidates * having requisite qualification and experience given here under, for the following posts:

1.    Director General (One Post)

i.    Master’s Degree in International Trade, Business Administration. Economics or any equivalent sixteen years Degree recognized by HEC. Preference will be given to candidates with foreign qualification in relevant field.

ii.    Minimum 14 years experience in corporate & public sector with 5 years experience in investment and trade promotion.

2.    Director – Energy (One Post)

i.    MSc or BSc / BE in the relevant field of Engineering or Master’s in Economics, Business Administration or any other equivalent sixteen years Degree qualification recognized by HEC.

ii.    Minimum 10 years experience with at least 3 years experience in a leadership role. Thorough understanding of doing business with the government and functioning of line departments within the government alongwith technical background and experience in the energy sector is required.

3.    Director-Infrastructure and Development (One Post)

i.    MSc or BSc / BE in the relevant field of Engineering or Master’s in Economics, Business Administration. Finance, Social Sciences or any other equivalent sixteen years Degree qualification recognized by HEC.

ii.    Minimum 10 years experience with at least 3 years experience in a leadership role. Thorough understanding of doing business with the government and functioning of line departments within the government alongwith knowledge of Infrastructure sector is required.

4.    Director- One Window (One Post)

i.    Master’s Degree in Public/ Business Administration, Finance, Social Sciences or any other equivalent sixteen years Degree qualification recognized by HEC.

ii.    Minimum 10 years experience with at least 3 years experience in a leadership role. Thorough understanding of doing business with the government and functioning of line department is required Preference will be given to candidates from the public sector.

5.    Additional Director-Trade Shows/ Events & Business Development (One Post)

i.    Master’s Degree in Marketing or any other equivalent sixteen years Degree qualification recognized by HEC.

ii.    At least 07 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with the Event and Trade Shows alongwith knowledge of development / execution of Marketing Strategies & Business Development Plan

6. Assistant Manager (Two Posts)

i.    Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, Accounting or any other equivalent sixteen years Degree qualification recognized by HEC;

ii.    Minimum 04 years of relevant experience in economic / financial analysis & modeling, report writing, presentations and documentation.

7.    Research Associate (Two Posts)

i.    Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Economics. Public Policy, Accounting or any other equivalent sixteen years Degree qualification recognized by HEC,

ii.    Minimum 01 year of relevant experience in economic / financial analysis & modeling, report writing, presentations and documentation.

8.    Administrative Officer (One Post)

i.    BS/ BSc (Hons) / Master’s Degree or any other equivalent sixteen years Degree qualification recognized by HEC;

ii.    At least 1 year of relevant experience in administrative functions in Private or Public sector

9.    Driver (Three Posts)

Candidates should have Middle certificate or equivalent, preferably having minimum three years experience • in driving a vehicle and must have valid driving license ,

10. Office Boys (Two Posts)

Candidates should have Matriculation certificate or equivalent, preferably having one year experience in clerical activities.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE UNDER DISABLED QUOTA ONLY:

The candidates should have disability certificate issued by the Standing Medical Board.

1.    Assistant (One Post)

Candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably having one year experience in record keeping, inventor)’ management, dispatch & issue, noting, drafting and other clerical activities.

2.    Office Boy (One Post)

Candidates should have Matriculation certificate or equivalent, preferably having one year experience in clerical activities.

Candidates for the posts from Serial Nos. 1 to 8 must possess interpersonal, presentation, leadership, analytical and problem solving skill set.

Candidates desirous of applying against the above-said posts should ensure that they fulfil the Job Requirements of the posts given on the PBIT website www.pbit.gop.pk. Applications with irrelevant job experience will be rejected straightaway.

Interested candidates having relevant Degrees/ Certificates from reputable Universities/ fora should apply-along with attested copies of educational testimonials by HEC/ competent fora and two passport size photographs along with the prescribed performa available on PBIT website, by December 09, 2015 at the address given below. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews / selection process. No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
