The individuals who fulfill the eligibility criteria may apply for the following positions:
ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Finance/Economics/Management, ACCA, Qualified/Part Qualified Chartered Accountant or
equivalent degree from an Institute/University recognized by HEC. Age: Up to 40 years
Experience: For Officer Grade – 1:5 years work experience in the Banking Industry with at least 3 years experience in implementation of Internal Control Programs/Process Improvement/COSO Framework/Re-Designing Project.
For Officer Grade – II: 4 years work experience in Banking Industry with at least 2 years experience in implementation of Internal Control Programs/Process Improvement/COSO Framework/Re-Designing Project.
Outline of main duties/responsibilities:
Manage implementation of the Project’s core initiatives as listed in the contract for completion of the Project Manage plans and timelines as per the contract and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for completing the listed tasks. Manage payments for the project strictly in conformity with the payment schedule of the contract Review the Bank’s related deliverables provided by the consultant for quality assurance Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor Project plans Develop and manage BPR & COSO Project Management office budget
Manage department and Project communication processes to ensure that all processes are applied and followed Effectively monitor and communicate relevant authorities if required with the project status and necessary information Review field inspection along with the Consultants for different assessments of the work Maintain Contract Tracking Log on account of deliverables/milestones for future reference if applicable Prepare substantial completion certificates and ensure all required Project close-out documents are obtained Present/communicate consultant recommendations and suggestions pertaining to different stakeholders of the Bank to Project Manager for onward submission to the process owners
Present the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about Project Status and issues that may impact the Projects Other skills/expertise required:
COSO Framework and SBP Internal Control Guidelines
Basel—II requirement in relation to development of Operational Management Framework Processes, Policies, Controls, IT Architecture, Systems and reporting requirements of banking institutions Ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment
Employment will be on contractual basis initially for three years renewable with mutual consent. Selected candidates will be offered a compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s Policy/rules.
