(USPCAS-W) at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro
MUET, with USAID funding and in partnership with University of Utah, USA, has established a Center of Excellence in Water for providing higher education and undertaking applied policy research in water-related areas. MUET seeks applications from highly accomplished professionals to fill several faculty positions at Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor levels in the following areas: Hydraulics, Hydrology, Irrigation and Drainage, Environmental Engineering, Environment Management, Natural Resources Economics, Water Resources Planning and Management, Water Policy and Governance, Water law, Urban Planning, Public Health, Water and Sanitation Engineering, Environmental Chemistry, Microbiology, Systems Dynamics and other areas relevant to integrated, equitable and sustainable management of water resources.
Professor: PhD from National or International University recognized by HEC in any of the above subject with minimum fifteen (15) years teaching and research experience and fifteen (15) publications in journals of national and international repute. Associate Professor: PhD from National or International University recognized by HEC in any of the above subject with minimum often (10) years teaching and research experience and twelve (12) publications in journals of national and international repute.
Assistant Professor: Master’s degree, awarded after 18 years of education as detennined by HEC, from HEC recognized institution in any of above subjects with minimum of four (4) years teaching/research experience or PhD in any of above subjects from national or international university recognized by HEC.
