Qualifications:
Ph D in the relevant field (Central Asian Studies. South Asian Studies. Middle East / South West Asian Studies)
HEC recognized University/Institution
Experience:
15-years teaching/research expenence in HEC recognized University or a Postgraduate Institution or professional expenence in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. OR 10-years post-Ph,D teaching/research expenence in a recognized University or a Postgraduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. Number of Publications:
The applicants must have 15 research publications (with at least 05 publications in last 05 years)in the journals recognized , by HEC.

Qualifications:
First Class Master’s Degree (8-Grade) OR Second Class Master’s Degree with M.Phil. OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3″ Division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University I Institution. Provided that the candidate holding higher degrees viz. M.Phil/ Ph.D. or equivalent but with only one T division in the entire academic career shall also be eligible. Provided further that benefit of higher degrees viz M.Phil/Ph.D. or equivalent shall not be allowed to the candidates who are eligible on the basis of higher qualification.
Candidates are required to submit their application forms along with photocopies of complete documents duly attested i.e. one recent passport size photograph. National Identity Card (NADRA). Educational Testimonials. Domicile and Experience / Service Certificates etc with a receipt of National Bank of Pakistan University Campus Branch or Bank draft (non-refundable) of Rs.600/-*n favour of the Treasurer. University of Peshawar. The same should reach the Meetings Section on or before 10* February, 2012: The applicants for the post (s) of Professor and Associate Professor should also submit the following 1) Four copies of the list of research publications showing names of publications and journals
2) Four sets of reprints of the publications
3) Four copies of complete b:o-data and
4) A Bank receipt of United Bank Limited. University Campus Branch or Bank Draft of Rs.4500/- (non-I refundable) in favour of the Registrar. University of Peshawar in addition to Rs 600/- to be deposited m favour
of the Treasurer. University of Peshawar In-service candidates should apply through proper channel They must submit No Objection Certificate XsJ from their concerned Departments/Institutions along with the application forms.
