SITUATION VACANT
WAPDA is sole proprietor for effective exploration, managing and utilization of Water Resources for irrigation and Hydropower Generation”” We are looking for a dynamic and career oriented individual to serve as an Environment Specialist of Mega Hydropower Project under Vision – 2005 programme.
Minimum Required Qualification & Experience
Category of Post
• Education:
♦Master in Environment or Natural Sciences.
•Experience:
♦Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
•Working Knowledge:
♦Excellent understanding & Knowledge of participatory National Resources Management (NRM) practices;
♦Specialization in project / programme management established through relevant work experience;
♦Knowledge about the dynamics associated with forests, watersheds and species habitats in Pakistan;
♦Knowledge of subject matter for forests, river ecology and fisheries will be considered an advantage.
•SWHsft Abilities:
♦Proven problem-solving skills and solution orientation.
♦Fluent in English language reading, writing
30-40 Years
Specialist BPS-18
♦Sensitivity to gender and other current social & cultural issues of the Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa areas.
♦Willing to spend time with local communities and work in hard area conditions.
