POSITION: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, SINDH TRANSMISSION AND DISPATCH COMPANY (PVT.) LTD.
Government of Sindh has undertaken various initiatives in the Power and Energy Sector, realizing the need for skilled and experienced human resource, Energy Department, Government of Sindh is looking for suitable candidates for the below position on purely contractual basis. The post is temporary in nature, however, the contract may be extended on need cum performances basis:-

Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering along with a Masters degree in Economics / Finance / Business Administration. Experience: At least 10 years of successful, verifiable and relevant experience out of which at least 05 years should be in Senior Management positions. Experience in Power Management andTransmission Sector will be an added advantage. Age Limit: Not exceeding 62 years with sound health. Domicile: Sindh Province Salary Package: Market based Job responsibilities shall include but will not be limited to: • CEO shall report to the Board of Directors of STDC. • To develop a team of professionals and raise the new company enabling it to execute transmission and distribution projects. • To develop HRr Finance, Technical, CSR and other relevant manuals of the company. • To develop corporate strategy and goals of the company. • To develop strategic partnerships with national and international companies. • Comply with all regulatory requirements of the transmission sector • Assist the board in development for power generation / distribution and transmission. • Identify potential projects for development by the Government or under PPP mode and selection and monitoring of consultants, contractors and/or developers / private partners. • Carry out technical review of proposals of transmission / distribution projects. • Represent the company at various forums. • Coordinate with relevant authorities on lying of transmission lines from the proposed power generating units to the National Grid or Private/Captive Consumption. • Identify performance targets for the employees.

• Must be able to analyze and solve complex problems.
• Must be able to work Independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to meet tough deadlines.
• Must be well versed in MS Office.
• Shouldpossessexcellentpresentation,interpersonaland negotiation skills.
