JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The Government of Pakistan has incorporated National Power Parks Management Company (Private) Limited as a management (holding) company for fast track implementation of 2×1200 MW, RLNG based Combined Cycle Power Projects in Punjab Province.

NPPMCL invites applications from highly qualified professionals who are willing to work dedicatedly for achievement of challenging targets. Eligibility criteria for the required position is given below:

1. Chief Executive Officer

Qualification: Engineering Degree/ FCA/ Management Sciences/ Law/ Economics/. Master degree in the same field will be preferred.

Experience: At least 12 years experience at Management Level. Understanding of doing business with the Government and experience with actual Public Procurement is an added advantage. Experience of leading a power or infrastructure project would be preferred.

2. Chief Operating Officer

Qualification: BS Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical), MS Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical) will be preferred.

Experience: At least 7 years of strong experience in Power Project Management is highly desirable. Thorough understanding of Government affairs related to Power Sector.

3. Chief Financial Officer

Qualification: Chartered Accountant/CPA/ICMA/CFA.

Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience. Experience in working within approved plans to meet time bound goals. Prior experience of working in Power Sector would be highly desirable. Work experience in ERP environment would be given preference.

4. Chief Technical Officer

Qualification: BS Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical), MS Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical) will be preferred.

Experience: At least 10 years of power sector experience. Thorough understanding of doing operations with the Government. Public procurement knowledge is must. Experience in setting up of Power Plants would be preferred.

5. Chief Strategy Officer

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Business Management/ Economics/ Finance, Masters in the field

of strategic/ business management will be preferred. Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience.

6. Chief Legal Officer

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Masters degree in Law will be preferable.

Experience: 10 years post qualification experience including at least 5 years of law practice and minimum of 5 years of service at the similar post. Knowledge of laws dealing with the electricity sector is highly desirable.

7. Chief Human Resources & Administration

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree, Masters degree in Business Administration will be preferred. Experience: At least 10 years of strong experience to develop and work within approved plans to meet time bound goals. Demonstrated ability to manage, negotiate and coordinate with private and public sector vendors. Prior experience of working in the similar role is preferable.

8. Company Secretary

Qualification: (a) member of a recognized body of professional accountants; or (b) member of a recognized body of corporate or chartered secretaries; or (c) person holding a master degree in business administration or commerce or being a law graduate from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission with at least five years relevant experience. Experience: At least 5 years relevant experience, prior experience of working in the similar role is preferable.

9. Deputy Chief Financial Officer

Qualification: Chartered Accountant/ CPA / ICMA/ CFA.

Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience. Experience of working within approved plans to meet time bound goals. Prior experience of working in Power Sector would be highly desirable.

10. Manager Contracts

Qualification: LLB/BS Engineering.

Experience: At least 5 years of strong experience of Contracts Management. Thorough understanding of the Government Contracting Policies and Procedures. Prior experience of working in the similar role in Public Sector is highly desirable.

11. Manager Technical

Qualification: BS Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical), MS Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical) will be preferred. Experience: At least 5 years of power sector experience. Thorough understanding of doing operations with the Government. Public procurement knowledge is a must. Experience in setting up of power plant would be preferred.

12. Manager Plant

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical)/ Management. Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in power projects and hands on experience of working at project site.

13. Manager Operations

Qualification: BS Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical), MS Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical) will be preferred. Experience: At least 5 years of power sector experience. Thorough understanding of doing operations with the Government. Public Procurement knowledge is a must. Experience in setting up of power plant would be preferred.

14. Manager Planning

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Business Management/ Economics/ Finance. Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience.

15. Manager Strategy

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Business Management/ Economics/ Finance, Masters in the field

of strategic/ business management will be preferred. Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience.

16. Manager Legal

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Masters degree in Law will be preferable.

Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of laws dealing with the electricity sector is highly desirable.

17. Manager Administration

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree, Masters degree in Business Administration will be preferred. Experience: At least 5 years of strong experience to develop and work within approved plans to meet time bound goals. 18. Manager Human Resource

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree, Masters degree in Business Administration will be preferred. Experience: At least 5 years of strong experience to develop and work within approved plans to meet time bound goals. Demonstrated ability to manage, negotiate and coordinate with private and public _sector vendors. Prior experience of working in the similar role is preferable.
