A progressive organization in the power sector requires the services of a Director Legal.


Advocate of the Islamabad High Court/Provincial High Court of Pakistan. Barrister or Post Graduate qualifications in Law, preferably with working knowledge of Engineering, Finance or Economics would be an advantage.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE The ideal candidate must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years proven experience (preferably with a reputable local/multinational firm of solicitors or a multinational or public/private organization of repute), including significant experience pertinent to the power project development and related agreements. Experience essential in contractual matters and leading role in negotiations of agreements. Related experience in corporate commercial, taxation and insurance issues would be a great asset. Must have a good track record of leading teams.


The selected individual will be responsible to providing inputs on Power Projects related policy and legal framework. The incumbent should be capable of making recommendations independently to the Managing Director on all legal issues related to competitive solicitation, evaluation of bids, negotiation of agreements and the provisions contained therein, and monitoring compliance of private power projects. Good analytical skills and good oral as well as written communication skills are required.
