Appointment of External Auditors
Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) is registered as a public company with liability limited by guarantee, under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984. PPAF intends to appoint external auditors for the financial year 2015-16 for its annual audit. Chartered accountant firms meeting following criteria are invited to submit proposals:
1. Firm should be classified in rating category “A” assigned by State Bank of Pakistan.
2. The Financial and Technical proposal are simultaneously submitted in two separate envelopes.
3. Evaluation of technical proposals will be carried-out in accordance with evaluation sheet (available on PPAF website under consultancy link). Minimum 70% points will be required to qualify for consideration of financial proposal.
4. The financial proposals (quoting annual fee and out of pocket expenses if any, with a certain maximum limit) will carry 30% weightage.
Firms are required to submit sealed proposals clearly marked as “Appointment of Auditors” and should reach this office latest by July 7,2015 at 1500 hours. PPAF may reject any or all proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of the proposal.
