Applications are invited from eligible candidates for employment as Project Director (PD) for “Establishment of Cadet College at Chilas, Diamcr”. The Project Director is a senior position, responsible for planning, managing and execution of construction works within specified construction cost and completion period. The individual shall report to the Secretary Education, Gilgit-Baltistan through the Director Education (Planning), Directorate of Education, Gilgit for effective management & assurance of better quality of construction works.
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
a. Eduction: Bachelor of Sciencc degree in Civil Engineering registered with Engineering Council (PEC). Higher education will be preferred.
b. Experience: Minimum Ten (10) years of progressively engineering experience in construction of infrastructure, including construction-management; experience in similar positions will be preferred
Knowledge: Through knowledge of local buildings, construction materials, construction practices and general knowledge of regulation & specification affecting construction is highly desirablt.
Abilities & Skills: Good interpersonal and managcriaiskilis as wcllasncgotiatin^andadvisoryskills are required to coordinate with other stakeholders i.e GB Secretariat, Directorate of EAication and ; Ministry of KA/GB Division and Planning Commission, Islamabad for effective management of toe project
c. : Age Limit: Maximumallowableagelimitis65-years.
f. Contract Period: One year, but extendable upto the projcct life depending cW me (performance, I physical & financial progress of the Project.
g. . Maximum Salary: Maximum salary Rs. 75000/- (Seventy Five Thousand onfy)jper month-
