JOB OPPORTUNITIES (CHEFS)

An exquisite London Based Hotel & Banquet, Grand Sapphire is looking to recruit following experienced Chefs on full-time basis: 1.

Head Chef Tandoori:

Duties of the Head Chef Tandoori will involve overseeing the operations of a kitchen in preparing and cooking all types of Pakistani/Indian Tandoori, vegetarian and non-vegetarian starter and main dishes.

Taking responsibility for the structure of the menu.

Ensuring all items and ingredients are available for menu production.

Maintaining the food quality and oven temperature for different types of dishes as per industry standards.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with company’s policies and procedures. Applicant must have experience at UK NVQ Level 3/lntermediate or equivalent in a similar position._

Experience required:

At least 5 years high quality experience in one of the above-mentioned cuisines.

Remuneration

£28,000 – £33,000 p.a. depending on experience. Preferred Age: 35-50. 2.

Speciality & Dessert Chef:

Duties of the Speciality chef will involve preparing and cooking traditional Pakistani Lahori dishes, e.g.nihari, shahdi wala qurma, haleem, puri halwa, paye and tandoori dishes. Should be able to work on tandoor and also aware of marination recipes.

•    Ensuring all items and ingredients are available for menu production.

•    Responsible for ensuring compliance with company’s policies and procedures.

•    Applicant must have experience at UK NVQ Level 3 / Intermediate or equivalent in a similar position.

Experience required:

At least 3-4 years high quality experience in one of the

above-mentioned cuisines.

[Remuneration

£20,000 – £28,000 p.a. depending on experience

Preferred Age: 25-45
