The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Karachi is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the following vacancy:_
Adviser

Requirements:

•    University Degree

■    3 years experience in an international organisation active in a similar field

•    Perfect command of English

■    Excellent analytical and communication skills

■    Computer literate and able to use the main computer programmes

Responsibilities:

» Advises the Head of the ICRC Sub-Delegation in Karachi on general policy issues related to the activities of the ICRC and the positioning in Sindh

•    Contributes to the analysis of the political and humanitarian environment in Sindh

•    Develops and maintains a network of interlocutors in furtherance of ICRC’s mandate and activities    . ,

The profile:

The ICRC is looking for a young and energetic individual who has good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate should have a sense of analysis and initiative, the ability to work independently and in a team. The above position demands flexibility and the ability to work under pressure.
