The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) is an autonomous body established under the Chartered Accountants Ordinance 1961 (the Ordinance). ICAP strives to promote professional excellence and safeguard public interest.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – LEGAL AND MEMBERSHIP AFFAIRS
The Executive Director reports to the COO/Secretary of the Institute. The position is responsible for assisting the COO/Secretary in formulation of strategic plans for the council of the Institute and their implementation, in addition to core responsibilities of providing oversight to membership affairs, investigation, and legal matters.
The role of the position is to ensure that all ICAP operations are in compliance with the Chartered Accountants Ordinance, 1961, Chartered Accountants Bye-Laws, 1983, other applicable laws, and policies approved by the Council. The incumbent is expected to assist COO/Secretary in holding meetings of the Council, its standing and other committees and implementation of decisions thereof. The position is pivotal in the organizational structure of the Institute and requires strong leadership, administrative skills with experience in dealing with legal advisors and national regulators.
This is a senior management position; therefore the ideal candidate should be a fellow member of ICAP with at least 15 years of experience in public practice or large commercial/industrial organization in a senior position. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in law.
DIRECTOR – TECHNICAL SERVICES
The Director Technical Services (DTS) is the Head of the Technical Services Department of the Institute and leads a team of professionals responsible for the overall technical functions of the Institute. The candidate would also ensure co-ordination between various Committees of the Institute working on professional matters and coordination with the regulators.
This is a Senior Management role and therefore the ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant along with minimum of 10 years of experience. Preference will be given to the candidate with experience of working in a Chartered Accountancy firm in research or technical role.
The candidate will be responsible for assisting in matters related to facilitating students and providing support in counseling of students and managing marketing activities.
The ideal candidate for this position would be a BBA / MBA/MPA in Marketing from a well reputed University with at least 1-2 years’ experience. The role would ideally suit an individual who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The candidate will be responsible for assisting in matters related to conduct of examination.
The candidate must be freshly qualified Master’s Degree holder in the discipline of Mathematics / Statistics / Economics from a reputed University.Technical knowledge regarding Information Systems and Computer hardware will be an added advantage.
OFFICER (ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT)
The candidate will be responsible for assisting Director Quality Assurance in Secretarial work.
The candidate must be a Commerce Graduate from recognized University/Institute with 2 to 3 years of Secretarial experience in a reputble organization.The incumbent must be excellent in Microsoft Office. The role would ideally suit an individual who nas good communication & interpersonal skills.
