VACANCY NOTICE

We are seeking qualified and highly motivated applicants for tbe following positions

Female ER & MCH Nurses DHQ HOSPITAL TIMERGARA

(a)    Main objectives of the ER Nurse:

•    Reception of patient and accompanying person and ensuring they are assessed in the triage

•    Patient assessment and classification of patients

•    Documentation and maintenance of patient record

•    Provision of care to patient

•    Management of material and consumables provided

•    Perform duties in Resuscitation room. Observation room and Triage

(b)    Main objectives of the MCH Nurse:

•    Ensure ante-natal care, post-natal care, family planning consultation and TT vaccination

•    Ensure admission of patient and follow up of labour

•    Conduct normal delivery and new-born care (including preparation for caesarean section)

•    Prepare the discharge of mothers and their babies and ensure tbe follow up

•    Assure quality obstetrical emergencies care under supervision of the expatriate, national doctor and nurse supervisor

•    Guarantee quality and continuity of care to patients

•    Guarantee that hygiene rules, asepsis and waste disposal are respected

•    Work in collaboration with MOH staff

•    Travel in the ambulance with referral patients to other departments if need it.

(c)    For froth the po$tflon$ applicants rpu$t meet; th$ following Essential Requirements:

•    Diploma in General Nursing (3 years)

•    PNC registration

•    Willing to work

•    Fluent m Pashto & English (Urdu is an asset) Desirable Requirements:

•    Experience m nursing. ER experience is an asset For ER Nurse

•    Experience in nursing. MCH experience is an asset For MCH Nurse

•    Able to work under pressure in a stressful environment

•    Strong dedication and commitment to humanitarian principals and values

•    Residence in Lower Dir or KPK
