Subject: CONSULTANTS REQUIRED
The Law, Parliamentary Affairs and H urnan Rights Department, Government of khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in order to strengthen human resource capabilities of Legislation / Drafting, litigation and Opinion Wings, is looking forward for experienced and professionals to join our team as consultants. We value integrity, commitment, hard work and innovative abilities. If (be supplicants possess these qualities and meet the criteria listed below against each category’ should submit an applications on a plan paper along with attested documents of all academic qualification, experience and other relevant certificates. The candidates for all the three wings mut be law graduates from a recognized university having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa / PATA / FATA and shall not be more than sixty-five (65) years of age.
Other qualifications and experience for each wing is mentioned below,
1 Consultant (Opinion) —……(1)
Experience: Fifteen (15) years service, as Judicial Officer or
practicing Lawyer of a High Court having fifteen (15) years practice at Bar including practice in lower courts. The practice -in High Court should not be less than seven (7) years or a retired officer of the Federal or Provincial Department who have not less than (15) years experience in tendering legal opinion in the Government cases. Applicants / candidates having vast experience in the relevant field will be given preference.
2 Consultant (Litigation)—…..(i)
Experience: Fifteen (15) years as practicing lawyer of a high
Court including practice in lower courts, The practice in High Court should not be less than seven (7) years or a retired officer of the Federal or Provincial Government department who rendered not less than fifteen (15) years scrvice in dealing with the litigation cases. Applicants/ candidates having vast experience in the relevant field will be given 4a * preference
3 Consultant (Legislation)……(1)
Experience: Fifteen (15) years experience in the field of legislative
drafting i.e. Scrutiny and drafting of bills, ordinances, notification, rules, regulations, statutory orders, bye- laws, services rules, agreements, MoUs, legal opinion and summaries etc.
Scrutiny of non-official bills (i.e. private members’ bills matters pertaining to the business of National or Provincial Assembly), Salary Package Appointment Period: Applications dead line:

Fixed salary package would be allowed. Appointment is for a period of one year.

Candidates having no relevant requisite experience in the field or who have been dismissed or removed or compulsorily retired from service or retired Judicial Officer whose appointment on such posts are contrary to the National Judicial Policy, 2009. need not to apply, Government reserves the right not to fill any slot of Consultant.
