Punjab Coal Power Company Limited (PCPCL), a Public Company Limited by Shares established under the Companies Ordinance, 1984, invites applications from suitable candidates for appointment on contract basis for the following positions. 1.Chief Executive Officer

Requisite Qualification: Preferably a Post graduate degree in Engineering, Economics, Management or Fellow Chartered Accountant

Responsibilities: The Chief Executive Officer shall be responsible for the overall management of the Company. He will follow procedures in financial and other matters, subject to the directions of the Board and in accordance with Ordinance. His responsibilities will include implementation of strategies and policies approved by the Board, making appropriate arrangements to ensure that resources are properly safeguarded and used economically, efficiently and effectively in accordance with all statutory obligations and as per Memorandum and Article of Association/and instructions issued by the Provincial Government.

Experience: 2 to 3 years in strategic leadership as CEO and at least 15 years of experience at management level. Good knowledge of risk assessment and corporate governance with ability to interact directly and independently with Government Functionaries will be an added advantage. Experience of Energy Sector will be preferred.

2.Chief Operating Officer

Requisite Qualification: A graduate degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical)

Responsibilities: The Chief Operating Officer shall be responsible for the management of Company financial and technical matters, in accordance with company vision and mission with implementation of strategies and policies, making appropriate arrangements to ensure that all available resources are utilized effectively to achieve company objectives and goals.

Experienced 0 to 15 years of experience in operations of Thermal power plants preferably IPPs (ii) 7 years of experience in management of power projects, i.e., EPC Phase to Plant Commercial Operations (COD) .contract negotiation, award of contracts and implementation, iii) Deep understanding of prevailing Energy policies ,PPA,0 & M Contracts .(iv) Experience of working with regulatory, quality , environmental issues and tariff understanding.(v) Development/implementation of SOPs with relevant applicable standards will be added advantage with motivational skills and can lead his team.

3.Chief Financial Officer

Requisite Qualification: Must be a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants Pakistan.

Experience: 07 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the energy sector in accounting, budgeting, treasury management, development of business plans, contract management and software/ERP applications with strong analytical, report writing and leadership skill.

4.Project Manager (Thermal)

Qualification: Candidate should possess minimum degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University in 1st division.

Experience: Candidate i) should have the overall experience of more than 15 years of which at least 10 years in planning, design, procurement, construction, operation, monitoring and management of Thermal Power Projects. Preferably IPPs ii) Should be competent in Financial Management of the projects (ADR Local/Foreign Financing), iii) Should have experience for implementation of thermal power projects under of donor agencies, iv) Must be well conversant with security packages, v) Should have knowledge of latest Engineering codes of practices, vi) Should be fully conversant with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA/IEE) and Resettlement issues relating to thermal Power projects and of Donor’s requirements regarding social aspects of projects, vii) Should be fully conversant with generation license and tariff issues related to NEPRA/CPPA/DISCOs. viii) Must be computer literate, ix) Departmental officers are also eligible to apply and compete, but his appointment will be made by transfer.

Max Age: 60 years

5. Company Secretary

Qualification: Candidate should be: (a) Member of a recognized body of professional accountants; or (b) Member of a recognized body of corporate or chartered secretaries: or (c) Person holding a master degree in business administration or commerce or being a law graduate from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

Experiences At least seven(07) years relevant experience.

6. Coal Supply Chain Manager

Qualification: Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline

Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in coal supply chain/procurement leadership with increasing levels of responsibility, 3-5 years of supervisory experience, essential to have at least 7 years of experience in roles with increasing responsibility in supply chain management, experience optimizing and managing supply chain is needed, must have experience with supply chain regulations and compliance, strategic development & planning experience preferred, Materials/Inventory Management experience essentialjVendor negotiation, selection and performance management experience required;Ability to interpret financial business information and provide supply chain financial metrics;Strong analytical skills;Strong written and verbal communication skills;Good leadership skills and development of talent, Experience in both build to specifications and build to print environment.

7. Deputy Manager (Electrical)

Qualification: Candidate should possess at least degree in B.Sc Electrical Engineering

Experience: 10 years relevant experience, (i) Installation and Operation of Generators, Auto Transformers , SF6 Circuit Breakers, disconnections, Switchgear, Control and Protection System, (ii) Synchronization of the existing system with NTDC Network, (iii) Construction of Substation, (iv) Project Management, (v) Knowledge of relevant/ Applicable Standards, (vi) Preparation of Review Reports.

8. Deputy Manager (Mechanical)

Qualification: Candidate should possess at least degree in B.Sc Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 10 years relevant experience, (i) Construction &Operation of Coal, Gas, HSD, RFO Fired Power Plants, (ii) Boiler Technology, Stem Turbine and allied equipments like OH Cranes, (iii) CNC, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Control System (iv) Project Management, (v) Knowledge of relevant/ Applicable Standards, Boiler Technology, Steam Turbines and allied equipment, (vi) Preparation of Review Reports.

Max Age:50 years

9. Deputy Manager (Civil)

Qualification: Candidate should possess at least degree in B.Sc. Civil Engineering

Experience: 10 years relevant experience, (i) Design and Construction Civil Structures for Power Projects, Substations. Construction of residential and non-residential buildings for coal fired Power projects, (ii) Construction of water channels, under-ground water resource utilization, (iii) Project Management, (iv) Knowledge of relevant/ Applicable Standards.

10.Manager (Legal)

Qualification: LLB from a recognized University.

Experience: Minimum 7 years overall experience preferably3 years experience in practice of relevant /commercial laws;Should be familiar with the Power Policy and concession agreement namely Power Purchase Agreement(PPA), Implementation Agreement (IA), Fuel supply Agreement etc; (iv) Should be well versed with PPP laws and different mode of implementing power projects.

11. Manager (HR)
Qualification: Master Dearee in HR from a recoanized Universitv.  Experience: Minimum 10years experience of handling the HR function in a reputable company.  Max Age:40 years    IPL No. 8339
