Punjab Power Development Board. Energy Department. Government of the Punjab, invites applications from suitable and enthusiastic carcSdates domirited in Punjab for the following posts. The candidates should have the vision to make the Board viable and at par with other Boards in the sector.
1. Managing Director (BS-20) (1 Post) (Age Min. 45 Max. 60 years) Pay MP-1 (in case of contract employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules.
B.Sc (Engineering) in Civil or Mechanical or Electrical having Registration with Pakistan Engineering Councif (PEC) or MBA from a recognized university. Should have overall experience of at least 20 years of which 5 year experience of dealing wrth Federal or Provincial Power Generation Policy. Should be well conversant with the implementation of Power Projects on BOOT. BOO & BOT basis. Should have experience and familiar of developing documents like PQD. RFP. PPA and IA and their legal and financial Implications Should have experience of examining and reviewing of feasibility studies of Power Projects and Tariff issues. Should have experience of planning and scheduling of large scale projects.
2. Manager Projetfs{Director Hydropower) (BS-19) (1 Post) (Age Min. 35 Max 50 years) Pay Rs 1,10.112/- (in case of contract employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules
Should be Graduate in Civil or Mechanical Discipline from a recognized university. Should have experience of more than 15 years of in practice of Civil Engineering of which at least 03 years has been spent in design, planning, construction, supervision, monitoring and operation of Hydropower Projects. Should be aware of Hydropower Software and their applications. Should be conversant with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA/ IEE) and resettlement issues relating to Power Projects.
3. Manager (Legal/ Contract) (BS-19) (1 Post) (Age Min. 40 Max 50 years) Pay Rs 1.10,112/- (fn case of’ contract employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules.
Must possess LL.B. Degree from a recognized university. Should have overall experience of 15 year of which 03 years have been spent in handling contract agreement. Experience with Power Project/ Policy would be preferred. Should possess experience of handling issues relating to NEPRA. WAPDA and other Stake Holders in Power Sector
4. Deputy Project Manager (Hydropower) (BS-18) (1 Post) (Age Min. 28 Max. 45 years) Pay Rs 70.454/- (in case of contract employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules.
Graduate Engineer in Civil/ Mechanical Discipline or Hydropower Engineer from a recognized Unrversity (Registered with PEC). Should have an overall experience of at least 05 years In the Practice of Civil Engineering of which 02 years have been spent in Planning. Construction and Maintenance of Hydraulic Structures on Canal/ Rivers or Hydropower Projects. Should be conversant with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and resettlement issues relating to Thermal Power Projects.
5. Deputy Project Manager (Electrical) (BS-18) (1 Post) (Age Min. 25 Mac. 45 years) Pay Rs 70,454/- (in case of contract employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of selectee m parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules
■ Graduate Engineer m Electrical Discipline (Registered with PEC) from a recognized university Should have an overall experience of at least 05 years in Electrical Engineering Practice of which 02 years have been spent in Design of Generators. Sub Stations. Governing System, Control System and operation of Power Station. Should be familiar with International Standards relating to Electrical Equipments.
6. Assistant Manager (Legal/ Contract) (BS-17) (1 Post) (Age Mn. 25 Max. 30 years) Pay Rs 58.033J- (“m case of contract employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and aBowances of selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules.
LLB from a recognized university. Must possess 03 years overall experience with at least 02-years in practice of relevant/commercial law Should be familiar with the Power Policy.
7. Assistant Manager (Tariff) (BS-17) (1 Post) (Age Min. 25 Max. 40 years) Pay Rs 58.0331- (in case of contract employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules.
MBA Finance1 ICMA (Inter). CA (Inter) Possess overall experience of 05 years with at feast 03 years in economic and financial analysis of Power Projects and Tariff.
8. Assistant Manager (IT) (BS-17) (1 Post) (Age Min. 35 Max. 40 years) Pay Rs 58.033/- fin case of contract employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules.
BCS (Honors) 4 years Degree from a recognized university with 5 years experience in relevant field or MCS from a recognized university with experience of 3 years in relevant field.
9. Sub Engineer (Civil) (2 Post) (BS-11) (Age Min. 35 Max. 40 years) Pay Rs 25,000/- (in case of contract employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules.
Should possess three years Diploma of Associate Engineer in the Discipline of Civil Technology, should possess 7 years experience of which 3 years have been spent in the maintenance and operation of Hydraulic Structure.
10. Account Assistant (1 Post) (BS-14) (Age Min. 25 Max. 35 years) Pay Rs 17.565/- (in case of contract employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules.
Must possess B.Com. or equivalent from a recognized university. Must have 5 years experience as Accounts Assistant in Public or Private Organization handling engineering projects. Must have excellent commands in MS Office Package.
11. CAD Operator (1 Post) (BS-11) (Age Min. 25 Max. 40 years) Pay Rs 25,000/- (in case of contract employee} or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules.
Must possess 3 years Diploma of Civil/Mechanical Engineering/ Draftsmanship from a recognized institute. Must possess Auto CAD Certificate from a recognized institute with 10 year experience of using Auto-CAD in making’ Drawings Must be well versed with 3 D animations and computing the quantities from Software Drawings
12. Chowkidar (1 Post) (BS-1) (Age Min. 18 Max 30 years) Pay Rs 7,598/- (in case of contract employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under Punjab Government Rules
Literate, Relaxable for ex-service man.
13.
