CONSULTANCY SERVICES REQUIRED
The population Welfare Department hereby invites applications for delivering consultancy services for formulation of Population Policy 2012 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The contract period is 05 months. The documents along with application complete in all respects should reach to this office upto 10th February, 2012 on the adress give above. No application will be entertained after due date. The TORs can be obtained from the office of the undersigned. The consultant would be selected as per rules and regulations of the Provincial Government by the competent forum. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning reasons-:
Population Welfare Programe is continuation of the ongoing special development endeavor within the nationally accepted Population and Development Policies. A broad based Reproductive Health approach in the light of ICPD 1994 is pursued with emphasis on Birth spacing and Mother & Child Health.
The overall vision is to pursue stabilization of Population as a development priority. Population Welfare Programe is a cross cutting issue which is to play a big role in overall development and to Improve the living condftlpn of the Province provided population stabilization is achieved.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Master Degree in Social Science.
2. Minimum experience. 2-3 years research/consultancy experience with reputable public/private organization.
3. Twenty years or more relevant experience in social sector, preferably in Population issues.
4. Have the expertise of formulating project documents/PC- 1s on FP/RH.
