‘STRENGTHENING OF SINDH REVENUE BOARD”
Online applications are invited from suitable candidates for following posts. The overall objectives of the positions is to assist the legal / IT wing of the SRB with meeting its goals, effectively. Consultant (Telecom Sector)
1. Sr. Consultant (Legal)
Qualification & Experience:
BE / BS / BSc (Electrical / Electronics / Telecom) Experience: At least 15 years experience in executive position with deep insight of telecom industry and with the ability to suggest improvements in taxation laws for optimization of revenue. To assist the Board on devising revenue collection strategy, particularly relating to Telecom Sector. To formulate policies, planning and organizing and implementing sales tax and other related laws particularly relating to Telecom Sector. To conduct industry research and liaise with major service sector associations and other stakeholders, particularly relating to Telecom Sector. To manage other operational and legal matters of the organization, particularly relating to Telecom Sector.
Must have working knowledge of MS-Office.
Consultant (Drafting, Opinion, litigation)
Qualification & Experience:
LL.B Second class or B Grade. Basic degree in Commerce / Business Administration shall be given preference.
Age: upto 45 years
Experience as an advocate with minimum 3 years standing practicing law and experience in working in corporate sector. Should have experience in preparation of opinions and briefs, research work, legal drafting, report writing and preparation of comments / rejoinders.
Must have working knowledge of MS-Office.
Qualification & Experience:
Post graduate degree in law with at least second Division. Experience of 12 years, in Corporate and tax matters mainly. Preference will be given to the candidates who have in addition to Law, a post graduate degree in commerce / business administration. Age: Upto 50 years
Candidate should be able to prepare cases, opinions, drafts agreements and can handle SECP, Civil and Criminal matters also. In case of candidate serving with Government or corporation, experience of 12 years in BS 17 and above with at least 5 years service in BS 18 with the above mentioned qualification and experience may apply. Candidates should be fluent in English, and should be computer literate and be able to train subordinates and other stakeholders.
Must have working knowledge of MS-Office._
Consultant (Prosecution litigation matters)
Qualification & Experience:
LL.B Second class or B Grade with minimum 3 years
experience.
Age: Upto 45 years
Should have experience of working in litigation and handling court cases, on tax, criminal, civil, corporate side. Should be able to attend courts and represent the Board including the Tribunal and at Ombudsman level etc. Must have working knowledge of MS-Office._
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. All posts are purely on contract basis.
